Hi, Iām Mrs. Ann :)
I am a Speech Language Pathologist based in Las Vegas, who has been practicing for over five years. I received my Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology from Idaho State University. I have had the opportunity to work in various settings including hospitals, rehabs, and home health before discovering my passion, treating speech and language in pediatric populations. My clinical experience gives me the opportunity to work with many different children, including kids with autism, specific language delay, and speech delays. Seeing the impact of therapy on a child and their family has been incredibly rewarding.
As a child I struggled with reading and spelling and was diagnosed with dyslexia. I have seen the impact of therapy on my own life and strive to help others develop both communication and literacy skills. Before becoming an SLP, I worked as a trained Orton Gillingham dyslexia tutor and continue to incorporate strategies to develop literacy in my speech therapy.
My husband and I have been married for 7 years and have two beautiful children. I have seen the impact of improved communication in my own life, in my family and in the lives of the children I have worked with.
